This Privacy Policy explains what personal data VF Noir Vendors Forum ("we", "us", "our") collects through the VF Noir Vendors Forum website and mobile app (the "Platform"), why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. VF Noir Vendors Forum is the data controller for the personal data described here.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, and country, provided when you register.
- Delivery information: the delivery addresses you save to your account.
- Order history: products purchased, order status, and transaction records.
- Profile information: a profile picture, if you choose to upload one.
- Device and push notification data: a device token used to deliver push notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging, if you have the app installed and notifications enabled.
- Affiliate tracking data: if you arrive via an affiliate referral link, a short-lived cookie records which affiliate referred you, so commissions can be attributed correctly.
- Payment information: we do not collect or store your card or bank details. Payments are processed directly by our payment partners, Paystack and Flutterwave, under their own respective privacy policies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to: create and manage your account; process and fulfil orders; communicate with you about orders, security, and (where you've opted in) promotions; calculate and pay affiliate and seller commissions; and improve and secure the Platform.
3. Who We Share Data With
We share the minimum necessary data with: Paystack and Flutterwave, to process payments; Firebase (Google), to deliver push notifications; and independent Sellers, who receive the order and delivery details necessary to fulfil an order you place with them. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Notification Preferences
You can control which categories of push notifications you receive (order updates, promotions, cart reminders, affiliate activity) from the Notification Preferences screen in the app at any time.
5. Data Retention
We retain account and order data for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with our legal and tax obligations. You can request deletion of your account as described below.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us (see below). We'll respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first.
7. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age required to legally hold an account in their country.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever changes are made.
